trouble adding video to template

I have converted my video to a f4v flash file and uploaded it to the server. I tried to embed it into an article using the media option - the box appears as if the video is there, but when I preview it nothing happens. The file is about 69 mb. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or is it too large? Also, I would like to embed some youtube videos onto the site as well. Thanks in advance.
