    Entitlements

    • Is there anyway I could trade one of my Joomla entitlements for a phpbb3 entitlement?
    • Any time I am asking for assistance I am referring to http://www.torocast.com unless I state otherwise thank you!

    • I don't mean to be a pain, but the weekend is coming and I would like to get as much done to my site as possible, how long does it usually take to get a reply from them?

    • Sam,

The Joomla club and the phpBB3 club are two separate clubs.

Jamesso mentioned contacting support, but to be honest, I don't think entitlements for the clubs are interchangeable.

Switching one entitlement from one club to another would not be as easy as you expected.... doing so would allow, or need to allow you access to a club, tutorials, documentation, support, etc. that you have not signed up for....

You should consider what you need as far as templates / support. etc.

Really, the templates between the two clubs are apples and oranges... and it only seems fair that if you want to use both, and receive access to all the template for both clubs and support for each, you should consider becoming a member of both...

Just switch an entitlement from the Joomla club to the phpBB3 club, if it were in fact possible, IMHO wouldn't do you much good...

    • I got that Jem, completely understand, I don't want access to the forums, all I wanted was say remove one of my entitlements, and give me the infuse phpbb3 template in its place. An even trade I thought.

I already have 4 joomla entitlements and have no use for them so I thought I would ask if I could use one for a phpbb3 template.

    • Well, as Jamesso suggested, contacting support would be your best bet.

As moderators, we have no control over that sort of thing.

While that may be the case, experience show that most phpBB3 users need some type of support or have a few questions while they are getting things set up.

I just wouldn't want you to be disappointed if you received a phpBB3 entitlement and then couldn't access the forums if need be.

In any case, contact support directly and see what happens.

      Cheers!

    • Thanks Jem,

I did contact them they said they are unable to help, but they did inform me that a phpbb3 account is 20% cheaper so maybe, I'll swing that, we'll see though.
