Hello all, Im trying to get a better grip on the purpose of the Log In feature:
Is it for admins to log in and do back end changes rather than use the /administrator approach?
Is it somehow connected to the ability for a user to actually log in and be a part of a blog? Is there a standard blog extension on every rockettheme template? I noticed Affinity has JomSocial as an option... but what about the others?
Sorry so many questions, any help or feedback is appreciated!
There are different levels of users in Joomla. The different user levels have different privileges. A "Registered" user would be able to login and possibly see or use different areas of the site that a "Public" user would not. The "User" is not specific to any area or task. Instead, you have the option to assign the areas to users if you like.
Hope this helps!

It does a bit, I think it clears up the part of my question as to wether or not the Log In module is used for administrating the site as apposed to blogging or using a forum on the site... in the way you defined it; it sounds as if the Log In Module is specifically for various levels of admins...thanks!
