  • How to show a shockwave file???

    • I want to provide some tutorials on my website .

I have used a program called Wink to create the tutorials which creates .swf files.

How can I display these on my website?

Anyone have any better suggestions on how to create and display tutorials.

      Thanks,

      Carl Johnson

    • Thanks GollumX I appreciate the link. I had looked at this plugin and I completely missed the fact that the Allvideos plugin could do swf files.

Is using wink the best way to create these little videos or does anyone have a better method??

Wink is free, but there are a couple of major apps that are sort of pricey but do a great job. They are Captivate and Camtasia. Captivate was bought by Macromedia and is now an Adobe product. Severa folks at work use Camtasia.

    • Dave,

      Thanks for the suggested programs.

I am doing this for a non profit as a volunteer so the $300 price tag is a bit much for me to lay out. I would not mind $30 or $40 to get a decent quality tutorial put together. I probably will not use the software long term.

    • Carl, the last I checked, you can download each of the programs I mentioned for a 30 day trial.

      Good luck, man!
