      Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good Joomla registration captcha mod or component?

    • Apology if i'm wrong on this one but you appear to be using a kind of "PreviewDNS" service?
      If so, the issues may go away when you put your site online on a real URL :)

    • Not sure what you mean by "preview DNS" the location is fully functional.

      I just dont have the URL fowarded to the directory until the test site is working properly, there appears to be lots of little problems with the Dominion template..

    • Some of these spam prevention extensions use a feature that sends the users DNS info to an external system to see if it's been reported as spam and then verifies it. That's what Prim is talking about I think.

      I can say I just tried the AJAX Register captcha extension JEM linked to above and I really like it so far. It's MooTools so it's much more likely to be compatible with everything RocketTheme and while other extensions from the same company are using ioncube, this one is not, so nothing is encoded. At about $13 U.S., it's well worth it for something that's simple and works.
