    • If you're only showing a few pictures and want a particular size for the thumbs, why not use RokBox like Kat mentioned? It'll let you customize the look as much as you want and you can use it in nearly any configuration.

    • Retired, but build and run websites for organisations of school leaders and others - e.g. http://www.icponline.org, http://www.aspa.asn.au, http://www.appa.asn.au

    • Oziogallery is Pretty good too. But lacks a few features.

      oziogallery.joomla.it
    • Apache Version 2.2.14 (Unix) | PHP Version 5.2.12 | MySQL Version 5.1.43-log | Architecture x86_64 | OS Linux | Joomla Version 1.5.20 | pHpBB v3.0.7-PL1 | Firefox v3.6.8 | Internet Explorer 8 |

    • Hi there YakAngler...
I'm currently setting up a kayak fishing website as well. After trialling all the recommended best galleries, I ended up settling on JoomGallery as it had plenty of configuration options in the backend and was easy to restyle for the RT template I'm using. I've switched off the slideshow and have just got thumbnails that open up in the Lightbox popup. It also intergrates with cooliris if you wish.

Here's some screenshots of it in the previous template I had started styling it up for:

This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

As you can see, all the extra stuff like slideshow, commenting, descriptions, download buttons, etc, can all be turned off in the backend if you are only after a simple minimalist look.

      Cheers... StefanM

It's not online yet, YakAngler. It will probably be " www.oakurafishing.co.nz ".
