New joomla Tootips problems ?

This is not related with Rockettheme, but I received so much help from the community here and a proud user of Rockettheme products, that I will ask this question....
Anybody have any idea for what reason Joomla seem to abandon the Overlib way to show tooltip in favor of the hasTip method????
I struggle for days now to have a decent tooltip and I hit a wall with it......
I cant have the tool-title and the tool-text to show on front page

This is actually my testing site (Chromatophore) (I try also with ja-purity and same problem)
I was able to show the tooltips, but the title and the text doesnt appear on the front page (purity and other template) and appear correctly in other pages???
If somebody is kind enough to guide me to the light on this one, that will be great...

I have not even opened your site yet so I might be WAY off here but reading your post two things stand out for me.
1. You say this is a recent change on Joomla's behalf
2. The templates you are using are both over a year and a half old
This leads me to the thought that it might have a connection, have you tried a never version of a template (the latest RT template maybe)?
If this is way off and has nothing to do with it I apologize for my lack of research, it was just something that came to mind. Hope my input has at least some value..

I try with a 1.5.15 ja-purity template, same problems... Tooltip text is not appearing in frontpage, but ok on other pages???
Thanks Yves, I think this plugin is not related to the core joomla tooltip method (<span class="editlinktip hasTip">) I need to control the core tooltip method...
