Need help with Frontpage component

I am fairly new at the template side of things. I just installed the bubbalicious template and am trying to make the "Poll" component stop displaying on the front page. I unpublished the poll but the space/div and heading is still there. I'm sorry its not too bovious where I can do this.
Can I achieve this through the GUI or do I need to edit the html/PHP? I looked at the Html but couldn't pick whuch part I would need to edit to make it go away?
Hope this post is in the right spot. Appreciate any help.
