    • I don't know if this is a known issue, or even an actual issue at all, but I am getting really spotty performance in these forums, and have been for at least a day now. I'm getting lots of timeouts, and when things are not timing out, the response time seems slow. The rest of the site (home page, blog, etc.) seems to be fine. . .

    • Well, for the moment, things seem faster for me. I'll assume that there was some odd local issues (perhaps my ISP had a dodgy DNS server, or similar thing going on. Glad to know it was just me.

    • There may have been a denial of service attack over the lat few days. Not sure. I know that I couldn't login to my Yahoo mail for about two hours early this morning.

Also, I sent out a few PMs on Sunday and never got a response. I sent a PM to David White a couple of weeks ago and he said that he never received it.

    • I had enabled a new caching mechanism in SEFAdvanced, but it appears that although this works great for the content pages, for the forum it was caching each url per user as thre's a sessionid that get's tacked on. I think this was slowing things down. It's off now, and things feel a bit more snappish.

    • I noticed it a bit sluggish a day after the site changed to the new server, but now its back to normal, and actually the other pages of the site like the demo site seems allot quicker!
