Is it normal for high security to mess up Templates?

Hello and Happy New Year to all!
Just discovered this problem but it seems that for IE8... if I set the security to high, most RT templates seem to not load properly... I guess it's the same when I try to view the demo templates with IE8 set to high security.
Is that normal?
I set the security setting back and everything is fine.
I only used this settings because it seems that MS had some hacking with their browsers and suggested that users set their security to high.
