    • Dear All,

      I am struggling to make my links search egine friendly with the build in joomla SEF though I have encoutered a problem with the categories/products in virtuemart. They have not changed a bit and are like this: domain/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=9&Itemid=53&TreeId=2

      Can sth be done with this? Maybe another free SEF alternative? What do you recommend? Please advise.

    • Will not work with joomla build in SEF, best solution (by far imo) is SH404sef. Also have a look at joomla extensions directory for seo extensions.

    • Thanks for your reply. There is a free version of SH404sef, the last one was: com_sh404SEF-15_1.0.20_Beta_build_237.joomla1.5.x.zip Does someone use it with the newest versions of joomla and viruemart? Does it work well together?

    • I personally use Artio's JoomSEF in my store. Very easy to configure and work with.
