Template with Jomsocial and Kunena Forum

Hi,
I am using the Nexus template with Kunena forum. I am considering adding the new JomSocial 1.6 component. However, I am not 100% clear if there is any advantage to adding Jomsocial when I already have Kunena if I only want the users to be able to post questions and answers just like this forum. Please share why having both components is better and examples why one would use both.

- Kunena is just forums, but it is totally free. Jomsocial acts like Facebook, with a wall, the ability to add friends and make groups, etc. Jomsocial is done by Azrul, and costs a hundred dollars for the regular version, and a hundred and fifty for the pro version. This kind of defeats the purpose of open source software. At least one person here has told me to stay away from Azrul, but they do seem to have good software, IF you want to pay for it.
