How can I check how much was compressed and how much user actually downloaded.
      I'm used to using tools.pingdom.com/

But I think it shows css and script after decompression (or how it works?)

What can I use to see how much kB was actually downloaded?

I like to use Safari's inspector, it has a nice resources tab that shows you all the files and their sizes. Firebug does it also, but Safari is just prettier :)
