    • Do Rockettheme templates support sprites based image loading ?
      If yes, which template ?
If No, any justification why the same has not been incorporated in any of the templates.

      Thanks

    • Web standard is .png, .jpeg, .bmp.

I suggest converting your images to a standard format.

Alternately, you can change the paths to your images.

To do so, I suggest FireBug to find the paths you need to change.

    • If yes, which template ?

Afterburner is based on css sprites.

The others, are graphically more intensive and don't really support sprites "out of the Box"

But as JEM stated once you have all of your changes done they "Could" be converted to a sprite using firebug as a guide but that would be a bog job IMHO....

    • Thanks JEM and Richard Bean.

I could see sites like yootheme.com, joomlaart.com are still able to offer graphic intensive templates based on sprite, which reduces the html lookups thereby reducing the page loading time.

Why Rockettheme is not able to catch up with them on this line is what bothers me :(
