Suits me perfect at the moment and his similar to mostree (but free). The problem is that the development has stopped and I think it has been removed from extensions.joomla.org.
Can send a mail with it attached if anyone is interested and can't find it though.

Don't go down a path, because you might fall into a ditch.
Just noticing the similarities between our sigs.....

How does the user create a link in ImageLinks?

I know you can do it from the backend, as well as import all your categories and links from joomla weblink component if you want to. Not sure about frontend though. I'll take a look and be back in a bit with an answer.

I had the same problem with WebLinks. It wasn't obvious how to 'add a link' from the frontend. I found a way, but I forgot. I'll look up the Weblink way and try and see if that works with ImageLink - I'll just change the name. I hope it doesn't explode and squirt goo all over me!

I tried to install a new weblink component, fortunately it not explode and splatter goo all over me!. However, i now have scratches on my back from its stubborness in leaving my site!

I've found that when I uninstall a component or module (especially a module) I have to use PHP MyAdmin to access my database and remove it there also. Then it allows me to install cleanly.
I'll make this TOPIC.
