RT templates used with static pages

- I would like to use a templates outside of my joomla site by creating a static page with the same look and feel. Anyone know how to convert the template to do this? I want to create static landing pages for my google ads and a static entry page with the same look and feel as the joomla site.

You will most likely have to use the PNG source and slice it, then make a new HTML format for it...if i read your question correctly

- Thanks. that works. I just thought there may be a way to convert the index.php file to an html file so I could add in some static text areas and still link to same css files as the joomla template. That way any changes to the css would propagate to the "static" page.

- Wow thats a cool idea. I wonder why i never thought of that. theres got to be a way to do it. Like in DW link the style sheet to the static document and joomla will automatically pull form the css. hmm gotta look into that one.

I don't see why you couldn't do just that - strip out the PHP and save it as an HTML file, at the end of the day, the core structure of the template is just HTML anyway; the PHP just does some clever stuff with the layouts pretty much. - Toolbox Digital | Dribbble | Forrst
