templates don't look like they should - is it normal?

i just purchased a membership, downaloaded some templates for testing and well.. as i choose the template, the final thing doesnt look like what you show on your website at all. all the plugin are missing and well, i only see the layout..
here's what i actually wanted to buy:

is this normal? or am i missing something? how do i activate all the cool plugins you show in your template demos?
i just started with joomla but this membership is making me quite disappointed.... but i am probably missing something.. right?

Hello,
Yes, you also need to install the extensions that go with this template. They are located in the TerranTribune template download area.
You will also need to configure the extensions as per the demo site.
If you wish to have a replica of the demo site, then try the Rocketlauncher package which is a full install of Joomla + TerranTribune + demo content.
This package is also located where you download TerranTribune from.
