Popup before showing the main page

Hello people,
Does anybody knows how to create this type of popup like on this link.
www.tv.com/smallville/show/1718/episode.html
It doesn't open every time ,so i puted a picture in the atachment.
Is there any script or tutorial of creting this.
Could maybe rokbox beeing used for this type of popus.

Hi Armin,
I've used this plugin before, extensions.joomla.org/extensions/style-a...opups-a-iframes/9738
In the plugin parameters you can choose to set a cookie so that it only appears to the user once or every few days etc.
If you want to show an article for example www.example.com/news don't forget to add the template switch so you would enter www.example.com/news?tmpl=component , so that it's only the article content that appears and not the rest of the site.

Luke,thank you very much,this joomla extension looks like the real think will try it now.
But do you maybe know any script for an non-joomla enviroment.I have an .php site and would use it there too.

I'd suggest taking a quick look at The files included in the plugin and seeig how the it works, it's a very simple plugin and will probably be a case of just copying the scripts that it outputs and maybe a few files and placing the JavaScript and reference to a few files in your static php pages. If I get some free time later, I'll have a quick look.
