Story images not showing on page

I've uploaded several images to the stories file, changed the permissions to 755, and chose them on the page image selector, yet the area on the page remains blank. What's the secret to getting them to display?

Are you talking about the MOSImage Control? If so, double check...
- In your content area did you insert the {mosimage} tag
- In the MOSImage Control did you select the image, to have it appear under Active Image:
- Click "Apply" button at the bottom before saving/
