    Templates for Adminstration 'Back-End'

Posted 18 years 1 month ago
    • Does anyone know of any templates specifically for the joomla 'back-end'. I've been using the 'Sporticus' template for about a month now and almost got my site looking the way I want it to. I now want to customise the back-end so that it fits more with the 'front-end'.

Does anyone do 'off-the-shelf' back-end templates complete with icons etc?

      If not...why not? ;)

    • There are some sites out there that do Admin Templates, the one i use is from www.joomlaworks.gr - a Joomla! 1.0.12 Admin template in the style of Joomla! 1.5 backend by Andy

      Its a nice template.

It should be easy to change

You can check out icons from this link www.iconaholic.com/ which rocket theme uses

    • Thanks for the reply James.

I found a couple of others at :

      www.joomlaos.de/set_albumName,album02/op...,view_album.php.html

      and

      www.joomlastyle.com/

although the joomlastyle site appears to be offline. Don't know how long it's been unavailable or when it will be back.

Just a general thought to throw out there (to Andy if he'd care to repond). James mentioned you created the template at joomlaworks but have you considered creating some back-end templates which can be more easily configured to match your excellent front end templates.....Just a thought? :)

Thanks again for the reply James.

The one on joomlaworks was not created by Andy, but was a copy of the one that Andy made for Joomla! 1.5. Andy is repsonisble for the stlying of Joomla!, thats why it looks ace ;D
