Since there is a string of stupid questions (a string of 1 by my count) and since every one is in the laughing mood...( OK no one was laughing at the last one) here is my stupid question.
When the time comes when you start to remove articles and other content from your site, how do you know which images to delete. If I delete an article that had a bunch of images in it then the images are no longer needed. So if I want to keep the server clean I would go and delete unused images. But maybe the image is being used in some other article????
IS there an easy way to find files that are not being used on the site so that they can be deleted.
Just trying to keep the site on a diet, slim and trim.
This question probably is obvious, just not to me!
Thanks for the help
PS: Please do not send me pointed hats. I have a closet full

I once had a Windows installation at work which had a desktop full of files, then four or five folders on the desktop of old "clearouts" from other cluttered desktops. It's great...desktop fills up...move all the files & icons to a subfolder and start again
I HATE cluttered desktops. Everything i have is perfectly organised into folders which are easily accesible with a few strokes of the keyboard, i hate using the mouse

You need to seek professional help as soon as possible. Run, don't walk, get help now before it gets worse. Next thing you'll know you'll be defragging your hard drive, cleaning your registry, and deleting old files.
Try this site, maybe your mouse will become your friend.

Oh how nice that sounds. And it's not just my desktop. I normally have like 15 files open in Fireworks, 20 in Dreamweaver, 15-20 browser Windows open, 8-10 Explorer Windows open...I usually have to spend about 15 minutes a week closing it all/saving it off ready for a restart as the computer becomes a tad unstable...snigger.
