  • component/user/register.... error

    • problem with 404 error... /component/user/register was not found on this server..

      I get this trying to use the login form what can I do to repair or fix this issue! I am trying to help my Aunt and not sure what she did to cause this but I cannot seem to find a way to either reinstall this component! It says its installed and there but just doesnt seem to work!

    • Many of your links are not working.... SEF problem?

      Basic Core SEF:

      If joomla is in the root; htdocs, or public_html...

      In Global Configurations, Search Engine Friendly URLs Yes, Use Apache mod_rewrite Yes, Add suffix to URLs No.

      Change htaccess.txt to .htaccess.

      If it’s in a folder, you need to change the # RewriteBase / to reflect the path of your site.

      Change:

      # RewriteBase /

      to:

      RewriteBase /(the name of the folder joomla is in)

      If that doesn't work, search or post here:

      forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=544

      If you are using a 3rd part component, contact the developer.
