Accessing joomla backend?

I've been uploading and editing 2 templates, brilliantly straightforward and simple to do with probably the best tutorials around for joomla... But I'm having one of those days when at 1am I am unable to get into the admin for my site... I've tried the usual site/administration and various versions, as this is what I had previously on another site...but nothin!!
Anyone please give me the solution to accessing the admin....PLEASE...

User Name 'admin' for both sites with different passwords?
Are you sure that the right password is being entered for each site?
When you enter 'admin' does auto fill add the password?
Clear it and make sure it's the right one.
