J 1.5.17 upgrade/change question

I am now getting around to updating my J install to the 1.5.17 (from 1.5.15) and have a question.
Do I have to update to 1.5.16 first? Since it was buggy, and they released 1.5.17 a few days later?
Also, I am using the Infuse template, and went in to see what changes need to be made for it as well. I found that the changelog for it says Iridium template changelog... (see attached image) URL is here http://www.rockettheme.com/joomla-templates/infuse#changelog
Is this the correct changelog for Infuse?

hi samuel,
you can download and apply the joomla 1.5.15 to 1.5.17 patch, there is no longer a patch available to go from 1.5.15 to 1.5.16.

i am not entirely sure about the infuse changelog info, but will ask the team to take a look at it and to correct if needed.
which version of infuse do you have currently installed? in case you havent done any manual costumizations, you can always just uninstall the template and install the latest version.
as with any major updates, make sure to take a backup of your site, for example with akeeba backup.

I currently have Infuse 1.5.2 installed. I do have several custom changes, so I'll have to use the changelog to make the updates in 1.5.3 and 1.5.4, that's how I noticed the Infuse/Iridium changelog mix-up. I just need to know if it's a typo or what before I update.
Thanks for the heads up on the joomla update, I have backed up the site for the joomla patch, so just waiting on the template updates.
