    • Carbonite and some very nice moofx slideshows give us the really smooth and professional looking http://www.CeliaMay.com for Celia May Photography.

Do have a look, and let me know where we can do better please!

    • The gallery pages are strikingly beautiful. The proportions, layout, colour and space of the template design are perfect as a frame for these images. And the combination of the two -- the template and the images -- is spectacular.

The "testimonials" page is one of the nicest I've seen.

The thing that baffled me for a while is that both the frontpage and the "products" page feel like an "about" page. (I actually found myself trying to scroll up to the top of the frontpage thinking that it had been cut off somehow on my first visit.)

The frontpage is obviously about Celia May but -- as a visitor -- I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with this information. Shouldn't the frontpage invite and incite me to continue on into site, to -- I'm guessing -- eventually really want to contact Celia May for great photographs of my own?

And speaking of that, I've read the services/products page a couple of times now and I'm still now quite sure what I could ask of Celia May. There seems to be a possibility of engaging/hiring/contracting Celia May for a photo session. This seems to come with a very convenient viewing session. I'm guessing that this then comes with choosing some prints (framed or not) but this isn't clear. And, given the beauty of the gallery photos, I think that as a visitor I could possibly acquire some of these as prints. But this isn't clear either.

So... her work is so beautiful. Your work is so good as a showcase for her work. A little more work connecting your combined efforts to the visitor will bring it all home I think.

      Thanks Again!

    • Nice...very clean and elegant. I *love* that green against the grey, what a fabulous colour!

It definitely needs something added to the top though...it's like the header's been accidentally missed off. You should at least put the site title up there in my opinion. It's great to be original but I think that devates too far from what the user will be expecting and will ultimately be confusing - it just doesn't feel right.

My other comment would be about the three images/buttons along the top - you should try to make them more obvious as navigation elements/buttons. They just look like some "sample" artwork at the moment and it took me by accident to realise I could click on them...perhaps frame them in a large button-style image?

I personally would loose the title from "main menu" too.

      Great work!

    • I'm a photographer myself, and I like what you've done. I only wish some of her samples would toggle through on the front page, as she has some EXCELLENT work to choose from to put up front. She's gifted for sure, without the gimmicky pro-look that so many repeat over and over.

I also found it difficult to figure out how to hire her or see her rates. It would also be nice to see a page that talks about her strengths and style... how she works without a studio, or a typical photo session. That would be some pretty strong appeal, especially when mixed with the strong testimonials.
