Old stuff:
I've got this habit of getting new ideas and completely redo my sites every once and a while. I "downgraded" from Somaxiom to Vertigo, because I love the parallax and felt that the rest would sort out with some easy tweaking.
The old site was a Shape5 installation, later equipped with some RT stuff, then migrated to another RT installation, then I decided to manually format all of the articles and redo the whole thing.

The idea is that the polaroids are memories that hangs there or are carried with the wind. The background is a grunge poster that I did for my football team.

Hey Posse, nice site. Very visually appealing. The search area is a bit undefined even with the text there, I'd think about lightly adding a rounded border in a blue-ish color to match the site and better define it.
Also, the moving pictures are superb on the Home page, but get a bit over-stimulating on all the sub-pages. Might want to limit them, but then this is only my opinion.
I know exactly what you mean about constantly "upgrading" a site due to new ideas. Problem is we get tired of it, whereas the visitors do not so much.
Regards - When someone is impatient and says, "I haven't got all day," I always wonder, How can that be? How can you not have all day?

Love your site! Was it much of a struggle to edit the paralax images?
I agree with Jeff regarding the search area but I really like the clean, open feel of the site underneath the showcase.
Australian Football is similar to Irish Football, so that tells most of the story. We also like the irony, that's why we call redheads, "Blue"

No, not at all. I just made new photoshop documents with the same dimensions, and blurred stuff out as it would give a sense of depth. Besides, I thing the grunge background did most of the trick
I'm in Robina at the moment, thats not to far away from Brisbane! I hear they have this Gold Coast Titans around here, but I guess that would be men in tights wearing protection (american football).

I live at Bond Uni now, just a humble dorm room I like it here, though I don`t see that much of the sun as I want to. I`ll head down to Melbourne for some tv production before I go home though, a little sightseeng is good!

Again I had to redo the site. I could probably just have shuffled some furniture around at home, but nooo, I had to reinvent my home page.
Entrophy with sef404 and Akeeba, thats it. At least I changed the colors and some graphics.

one minor suggestion...
the top bg image...(the blue and black one with your profile on it) maybe could use a size reduction... maybe a compressed jpeg?
thats my only concern...its hard to find anything wrong with the site!
