    • You can check a contemporary take on solarflare, (I know it is not a club template, but it is probably their most famous template), at:

Let me know what you think.

    • Thanks buddy. I was trying to get the logo to match the name "urban butterfly" for the client, (my friend), I appreciate the feedback.

    • My mouth is still on the floor in amazement :D

Might I make one suggestion, make the background slightly wider, on wider resolution screens, its starts to repeat. Alternatively, which may be easier, set the background to no repeat with a #26343D so when the resolution is a bit wider than the image, it just repeats the colour and keeps the creativity alive :)

    • James is right, that would look much better
Also, perhaps the fonts chosen could look abit more modern?

    • The fonts were the clients pick, he likes the Times New Roman in the body- (who knows...)

I am a little weak with html, how do you do the no repaet with the color? I wanted a wider image, but the client has a small browser and he didn't like it, but you are right about the repeating.

    • The repeat colour was in the CSS itself

    • I really like the look of your site!

Buuuuut you have a lot of broken links in your css to images that you removed.

And yeah you need to fix that background.

Also, a pixel or two padding on the center content block wouldn't hurt either, to stop it sitting right up against the edge.

    • Thanks for the comments. I made those changes and things look much better. Do the broken image links matter? I never understood why that stuff is important if it looks and works fine- but I am sure there is some reason. I will try fixing the ones I find in the template.

Thanks for all of your help,

    • Thanks for all of the advice. I didn't realize how easy it was to fix these things. I just added a color strip on the side of my image, I thought I would have to resize the image.
