I think the site looks great. I am using the same template at
TotalRegistration.net
. I agree with some of the other comments about sticking with one color theme. I think it is important in branding yourself.
Since your work is so great I would showcase a couple of pieces in the frontpage sideshow. Perhaps alternated with some of the slides you have now.
Great job overall.
