I'd be happy to hear any of your proposals or criticisms to beautify, optimise, secure or otherwise enhance the site and the users' experience.
Despite the fact that the site is pretty serious in content, it was put together by an unknowledgeable volunteering first-timer.
The goal is to keep the site as clean as possible, yet aesthetically pleasing, functional and easy to go-around.
I am considering maybe applying some soft background colour to break the all-around white....it needs to be as easy to the eyes as possible. I'd welcome proposals on this from experience regarding long comfortable reading but also matching colours to the rest of the scheme.
There are some CSS/HTML validation issues, albeit most of them are caused by the affiliate links...(I don't know if these should be messed around with)...will probably open a separate topic on this.
The extensions I am actively using (as opposed to simply having them installed) are to be found in the signature.
