      Hybrid with out-of-the-box available tweaks in template settings. Straightforward, uncomplicated with minimal graphics.

      What is Joomla Index?
      Joomla index is a unique joomla directory for joomla-based websites. Websites automatically go through a validation process whilst being added to confirm they are based on a version of Joomla! Supported Joomla! versions are: 1.0, 1.5 and 1.6.

      If someone tries to add a non-Joomla! website they see an info screen giving the option to consider updating their website to Joomla! based if they wish. They have 60 days to effect this option before re-submitting. If they choose not to, then their joomla-index.com membership is automatically deleted.

      Additional Extensions
      The directory uses a specially customized version of JV-LD. The component customization work was carried out by www.jv-extentions.com , manufacturers of the component.

      ReDJ and Tag Meta extensions are also used for custom error 404 and meta tag changes.

      Another feature
      Validated websites that are added to the directory can display the Joomla Index verification seal.

      I'll welcome any feedback from other joomla users that bear in mind that we need the website not to be over complicated and strait to the point of its sole purpose.
