Taking shape nicely...
My thoughts would be:
One the homepage, bring some welcome text up to beneath the images - with just the two affiliate widgets on view, you may lose visitors who don't bother to scroll down. Personally, I'd make the make the widgets horizontal and split them up with some content.
The only other suggestion would be to reconsider the light blue on the top navigation menu that indicates which page you're on - a couple of hues darker is all it needs. You also need to maintain font size regularity throughout the site.
Else I thought the site was bright and approachable.
