I actually did the logo... and all the custom graphics... myself. Two of the module hilites I made are available in the member submissions forum if you're interested... they are called "Blackglass" and "Steel".
I'd be happy to help with your logo, but I don't purport to be a professional by any stretch of the imagination so I'm usually a little slow. However, if you want to pay someone, I think Daniel Chapman (He's the guy with the Ninja avatar) knows a guy and it looks like you already got ahold of Robert over in that other post. Between the three of us, I'm sure we'll nail what you're looking for.

Hehe... the steel hilite was something I kind of threw together after making the border for Monoslideshow and hadn't really found a place for it yet. I just modified one of the modules though so you can see the difference live (particularly interesting since you see how two rokLatest modules in the same column interact). Go to any page under Journals or Galleries and you'll see both BlackGlass and Steel.

Depending on how your hosting is arranged, it's actually pretty easy to play with this stuff. For instance, I use fantastico through CPanel to install Joomla. I can install 10 instances of Joomla if I wanted to. One is my primary and the others are all squirled away in directories that only I know about. That way I can upload a template, destroy the index.php and css files, then go into fantastico and delete the instance and all evidence of my hacking is gone. Then when I'm comfortable with the changes... I go ahead and apply them to my real site.

Thanks for checking out the site Franck. I am very happy you enjoyed it! I have five or six more moto journals to add that are currently just in hand written note form from the last 18 months or so. The next trip I'll actually take will probably be to Sequoia National Park and King's Canyon National Park in the central-east part of the state of California. I've tried going their three times now and been rained out once (that's when I went did the San Diego east trip instead), rained ON once (haven't posted that one yet), and snowed out once (that was just this last April, haven't posted that journal either). There's a road, south of there called Caliente-Bodfish that I want to ride too... not merely because it's nice and twisty, but because of that name... I just like saying it!
I'm just happy that right now I have a line up of ideas and content for the site... new parts to add, features to bolt on, journals to write. I was really worried that I would run out of stuff pretty fast, but that doesn't seem to be the case right now, so I should be able to keep the site updated with new content on a weekly basis or semi-weekly basis for quite a while.
