    • Hey OrangeCube:

On your Snooty Fox site, check out the RokNewsPager module (Special Offers) as it is causing a tremendous empty white space at the end of the page. If you inspect it with FireBug you notice it has a styling element for height defined as 3000px. Might want to look into fixing this, as well as the odd list items at the end of each special offer section (just a number 1 and a number 2).

Otherwise I do like the Snooty Fox site, very very nice design and styling. Good work!

The Corner House site is excellent as well, very clean, but I would recommend you not have the Showcase modules (pic, book a table, book a room) show up on every page. To keep the CTA's "Book a Table" and "Book a Room" you could simply add them as Showcase-a and Showcase-b modules on the interior pages with either smaller boxes, or open forms to gather leads and transfer the name and email to the desired form.

Now the more I look at the Corner House site, the more I like the design. :D I think it is an excellent, clean and straight-forward design that is very apt for a lead-gathering site such as a Hotel requesting reservations.

      Good job on both!

      Hope this helps

      Jeff
    • When someone is impatient and says, "I haven't got all day," I always wonder, How can that be? How can you not have all day?

    • Thanks for the feedback Jeff.

With Snooty Fox I seem to have an issue with the sidebar and using images as module titles as opposed to text. Doesn't seem to want to sit right. Both the Jevents module and Roknewspager modules don't like it. Hence also the empty white space which makes it work.

The special offers is the roknewspager and just not enough items assigned to the module. They had more special offers than was max in the module and caused it to add numbers for some reason. Simply upped from 10 to 20 sorted it.

Unfortunately this is now managed by a client who does a lot of the content update but I need to find time to play with it.

Corner House works well. Agree with you on the booking modules. Client decision I'm afraid but will discuss on next meet.

Many thanks for the input. Much appreciated.
