    • i really like the use of this template in the motorsports field. a few minor things would be the opacity of the top nav bar. you might want to increase the opacity to save the text from colliding with the background images.

      you could also explore using an outer glow effect (which can be done in CSS) (very small) effect on the "hero" text to help it's readability.

      the checkered flag does create a good structure, but being checkered it adds to the visual noise of the primary content are, maybe turn it down a notch.
