- nice start...but i think you have to work more with this site..the background image does not fit in at all, try to blend out with the same color you have for background.
  
  also i recomend another gallery...why are you using wrapper for this ?

- Looks pretty good. I agree with Robert. The background needs to blend more. I had a hard time seeing the forums.

  I'll try and do what you suggest. Is there a way of changing the background colour of the modules somewhere in the css? I think the background colour for the forum needs to be white (rather than transparent) so that it is easier to read but I'm abit lost on how and where to change that. Any suggestion would be welcome.
  The reason I'm using the wrapper is because I have a legacy of an older slide show system on the site which I shall replace in due course with something joomla - any suggestions?

- Try changing the body style to "smoke". That might help. You can find that in the demo for Replicant under the Menu "Tutorials>Basic Customization"

- Very nice looking site. I would have never thought the dark vibe of Replicant could be mutated to feature a nature site but you've done an excellent job.

- I like the idea of the site, but I find it distracting to read. If reading is not high on your priority list for things visitors do at your site, then it is perfect. I did not stop to read much, though - my eyes kept returning to the background.
