The plane has been on the site for years. It was originally in a flash movie. Didn't want that back so I used the ani-gif. Just wanted something familiar for my loyal visitors to "feel at home" and get used to the new version of the site. Then, I'm gonna put up something newer. Hey, 97' was a great year by the way, I was a lot younger, then! LOL! Thanks for the feedback.

Hey there buddy, personally I think you have taken some software that is very current and made it feel old. Please don't take the comment the wrong way but I would strongly recommend trying to be more in-keeping with the look of the product. If you have just upgraded then try to do just that and not stick with with an old look, or the "Upgrade" exorcize will have been a waste of time!

I agree with crankspinners. Tone down on the use of gradients in the nav bar, change the hover color on the about, contact, sb1random funny, and think of different background colors for the header so the red in the logo doesn't clash as much. The red on blue is just a bit too bright. Might not be a bad idea to check out

and create your own background texture too. Your choice of color can work, but in a different way. Blue is dominant and the grey in the nav could be a softer blue without the gradients. Not sure you even need the grey in the nav. I always try to think simple which is why I always use the patterns on the site I mentioned above. Just my opinions of course, but it's nice to see the effort! Keep working on it and don't quit!
