Scott,
Working through your site looking for a) inspiration and b) technique, I noticed the menu bar at the top of the page. I wanted to use one of these to maintain consistency with my old site and hadn't really noticed the top position in replicant.
But, on the home page it's below the news line, and between the bevels.
On
http://www.mccn.edu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=73&Itemid=113
it swithes to the top line the replicant default.
Guess that's a configuration problem somewhere, or and error with your background switcher?
[edit] just worked it out - one of your news items is long so it pushes the menu down - if you keep refreshing the home page it's ok until you get to one particular article - but I felt it was still worth mentioning! [edit]
And your left menu fonts look great in Safari, but not very readable in firefox on a mac imho
regards
Gareth
