IMHO....It's not clear to me what your site is about when you first land on the URL you provided. Instead of learning what the site is about, I find advertising on the top. You need to tell me (and others) clearly what your site is about, your unique selling proposition and what you can do for me (that others wont).
Tell me the benefit of buying a bicycle from you as oppose to the other guy...
Do you make those bicyle??? Are they the best or lowest price for me????
You need to coach your client into your products...
First, I'd say drop the ads altogether. They have nothing to do with your site's purpose. Plus, unless you have a high traffic site, you will not be generating enough revenue from those ads to warrant the fact that they are taking so much of your site's primary real estate.
Okay, now having said that and if you don't want to get rid of the ads, consider this: You have two ads the same size -- top and bottom. In those positions, those ads are taking over the ownership real estate of your site. To start with, I'd suggest that you change the top ad to a different size and place it in the sidebar position.
You also should modify the ad script so that the ads open to a new window. As they are now, when you click on them, you leave your site. You never want to send your visitors away from your site.
If you must use ads on the site, consider text ads as well as inline ads. Something that will not distract from the main focus of your site.
Next, you need to place a site logo at the top of the site. This will help define what the site is about.
Further, and more importantly, you are selling bicycles and bicycle accessories. That should be the main focus of your monetization. Keep the focus on the products that you sell and their benefits and you will do better with that than any advertisement program.
Thanks for the help to getting me a small piece of the pie, not easy for self made man. These are great advices for a noob like me. While I'm making just pennies, kim.com is making millions
