    • This is the first of many revamped Charity Malls.

      Virtue Mart

      Trying to keep it simple...also, just like a shopping mall I created it with floors (Levels 1-10) with a soon to be really awesome multiplex theater and arcade built into them (theater and arcade are up, but not the way I want them) , Note: the sixth floor is under remodeling. :P

      How I want it and how it is is a long way off, but I am relentless - one day they will be cool Virtual malls with Virtual features, Virtual Pet Store and other features to drive people back to them.

      I am hoping by the end of the year to have it automated (I can hope, but I really don't see it happening till next year) as there is already a nice line forming by other non-profits requesting their own mall, I am left to do everything manually, but thats okay. "I can do it!!!" ;D

      My goal is that any 501c Non-Profit can create a functional mall with all proceeds going directly to their cause. I am trying to set it up so it cost them nothing and also create a marketing campaign for them to to help them succeed.

      I have to create about 20+ over the next month, with the potential to pick up 80 more by October, so, any feed back, suggestions and tips is greatly appreciated.

      Plus, I added a developer and Joomla forum - to recruit individuals to come aboard. (I don't have the details up yet, but your welcome to visit http://10xstore.org and join the forum there - charities can post their "for hire" there to help them if they want to add more features to their mall like - forums, newsletters, donation buttons, etc... So, as this builds there will be plenty of work available)

      P.S. I have a professional who will be editing for me through this week and probably for a long time...I hate writing. So, if you read any of the FAQs and stuff UHHG - it will be up and changed by mid this week.

    • A great concept! I understand this is a work in progress but looking good...couple of quick thoughts:

      1. Entice the viewer with feature photos or a featured product (mono)slideshow, maybe smaller photos and icons for the floor modules. Add some people photos for the human element.
      2. Top navigation?...or maybe a drop down menu somewhere.
      3. Add a feature that points to a page explaining your Charity concept more. (Edit: Just saw the Our Site link)

      Originals had photos, but I am going for a more simple look... And Yes - I NEED ICONS :P

      The idea is to start simple...then show the charities how they can add features to their Charity Mall. So, the goal is to impress them with their initial mall (ok, new and improved mall) and then encourage them to fix up their mall with their personal flair.
