the site looks good Neil, nice implementation of monoslideshow. Personally, i would the monoslideshow to only appear on the frontpage, not on every other page.
I was also about to watch your portfolio but it contained only images, not links. That's a pity, I love to watch joomla portfolio's.

Thanks Patricia - sometimes I get that, a corruption in the index.php file, think it has something to do with my hosting provider for this site (
www.web-mania.co.uk
) they are cheap but not really 100% suitable, I can't run SEF URLS or JoomlaCloner with them!
