As newbie as you are you should stay out of the forums, There is so much misinformation traded it almost makes them useless.

Of course I didn't mean this forum, I was referring to the ton of seo forums out there. SEO is not that difficult. Think looking for a book at the library by subject. If you looked in the index for a book on marketing and after looking for the number found a book on fishing, and this happened over and over would you go back to the library? Or, if the cover said marketing and the content was about fishing? I'm sure you would be upset.
Search engines are the same as a library, when someone types in a keyphrase they want to find information on that subject. If you have a page about wood floors you should have that in the title, you should have it as the heading of the content and you should talk about wood flooring. Then all you have to do is go out and get votes from other websites that say your page is about wood flooring. They do this by having wood flooring in the anchor text. It's also good if their page that is linking to you has something to do with wood floors. ONE SUBJECT, ONE PAGE, easy stuff.
