    New wedding site using Colormatic

    Posted 17 years 8 months ago
    • Hi all

      In the final stages of putting together our new site www.wedding-sydney.com.au which will complement the release of a new magazine title for the wedding market.

      Uses Mosets Tree for our directory and great photo galleries from Joomlaworks.

      Still lots more to do over the next 2 months to complete prior to launch but am interested in feedback on design and general feel of site and if any technical issues.

      Cheers

      John

    • Looks to be mostly the default Colormatic template, but great use of the sliding drop-down panel. I love that.

      Noticed that the top menu is overlapping and continuing on the next line... try this:

      template_css.css (line 373)

      div#horiz-menu a:link, div#horiz-menu a:visited {
      display:block;
      float:left;
      font-weight:bold;
      height:30px;
      line-height:30px;
      padding:0pt 22px; <<<reduced from 25px to 22px.
      text-decoration:none;
      }

    • Thanks for that - the template is pretty much off the rack, small changes to fonts - it's close to the template I was about to have custom made...

      Not sure which menu is overlapping - could you advise and also which browser? - I have noticed slight differences between IE6/7 and FF.

      Thanks for taking a look

      Cheers

    • I see only one menu on the home page. It is at the top, and is horizontal.

      The last item in the menu (parks and gardens) falls onto the next line.... it lies below the 'home' menu item.

      Viewing on FF.
