Hi all,
I know I posted here once before but I have totally redesigned this website since the first post. New color scheme, new components, new mods & bots. I made a few small alterations to the template itself, nothing major, just changed the left and right columns widths, added "Read More" buttons and also removed the rockflow from the template. I have added a large array of components as this is a community site. Some time consuming custom work was editing all the components and modules css files to get the backgrounds transparent and the colors of the text and borders to match the template. I have also added tons of content to the site since my last post. Site url:

Just a couple of modules that I have installed but that are really essential to the look of the site are: 1. "MiniFrontPage Module" to clean up the front page and get a lot more content into a small place. 2. "Joomla works Tabs & Slides Module" to mimic the sliding menus on the left of the site.
These mambots also helped to clean up the look of the site: JW AJAX Vote, CalDate Mambot, DropCaps.
These two mambots were essential to the Blog & News Section: Social Bookmarker Mambot and J!Tags. My wife also helped by allowing me, (it was her idea ;D) to use her pics for the big header on the front page.
The site is still being worked on but I think it is far enough that I could start taking some feedback. What I would like to hear is your comments on 1. Navigation 2. Color Scheme 3. Overall Look and Feel of the site, some critic on the functions or lack of functions for a community site and last but most important is some information on loading times. I have heard from two different forums on two different occasions that it takes along time for the site to load. Thank you in advance for any help.
