    • I just finished putting up the basics for my personal site. There are still some things I need to do, like putting proper section/category intros, put more articles in, editing the random quotes, etc, but the basics are done. So if you could take a look and comment, I'd be grateful.

      Guestbook - Easybook
      Random Quotes - eQuotes
      Commenting - mxComment

      Custom Development :
      Basic darkmatter template with no major changes to template design and layout.
      Switched off the ability to change template style.

      Specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on :
      If you can tell me the overall "feel" and impression you get when visiting the site, so I can find out if the site successfully represents how I am, that would be great!

      Any comments and suggestions on how to improve the site would be most welcome.

      Nice use of Darkmatter. That color scheme is very sharp, and I think that it offsets your content well.

      I might replace the standard contact form (or rework it a bit), because it does not flow quite as well as the rest of the site content. Especially the icon, which is showing some fringing against the dark background.

      My only other comment is that you got me started thinking about lunch a couple hours early!

      Thanks for the comment. I'll certainly put down the form(s) rework in my to do list.

      Too bad we're not in the same area, else I would invite you to sample my cooking :)
