    • I thought some of you might like to look at this new site. I used Versatility III and and carried the design of the template over to the shopping cart that has close to 400 items in it at this time and growing. Not all of them are online yet. I personally am very happy with the simple clean look of the web page and cart. However the client wants to make some other changes in the site that if implemented will change the look of the site a lot. Anyway I like it now but I could use some comments and suggestions.

I tried really hard to get people viewing the web page to realize that this store has a huge inventory of barbecue products. I also wanted to get people into the shopping cart as quickly as possible. This site is very compact but it has taken a lot of work. Over 125 hours have gone into this web page.

All the items had to pulled from the store, photos taken and three different size pictures for each item inserted into the cart. The client has requested a lot of custom coding in the cart.

I used some elements from other templates and borrowed some ideas from other sites I have seen on this forum.

    • Nice work! I think the frontpage could use a little bit more organizing but overall I can tell you put a lot of hours into it.
What component are you using for the shopping cart/products?

    • The frontpage (home page) is a static page laid out all in html. I was trying for a non Joomla look clean, free and open. The shopping cart is zen cart. It's not a Joomla component.

    • I noticed that someone has made a osCommerce component for Joomla.
