    • What cart are you using, the security key keeps asking to ingnore non secure items on every page when you check out
that could be annoying for your customers

    • Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't noticed it myself but I'll have to fix that.

      *added*

It was a footer graphic that was still referring to the "http" address of the site. Its details like this that come out in testing and that's why i posted the site here. So thanks for the tip!

The eCommerce part of the site runs on osCommerce but in this case it was the template, not the cart, causing the problem.

    • The pages loaded pretty slow for me but the overall design/flow is very nice.

did you use an extension to get the osCommerce incorporated into the template or was that a custom mod?

    • One thing that threw me off was in the upper left hand corner, the phone number corner banner was severed in half. I am using IE6, because I'm at work, so I like to give IE6 feedback, considering a lot of people use IE6. It looked good in Safari and Firefox though. Very nice layout.

I have had one other person tell me that they have seen that but I have never been able to reproduce the problem. I have IE6 installed on my computer and it looks fine in my browser (and all the other ones I tested on). I wonder what the difference could be.

Nice Karate Kid avatar. Oh boy the memories... I am still convinced that "the crane" is the ultimate move. Can't believe they don't use it in UFC. :P

I just realized I never answered this question. No, osCommerce is NOT integrated... it just looks that way. After I finished my site design I cut and pasted the header and footer HTML into the osCommerce Template. I had to modify about 40 files. It was a PAIN IN THE BUTT. Fortunately it calls the same .css file so I can make style changes globally. I wouldn't have used osCommerce except it was already installed and working and the client didn't want to mess with it, so I had to work around it.

    • Hi. Your news looks really nice and neat. I need to put a lot of news on my website but I can't find any good module. Could you please tell me what module you're using? I would like to use it on my website.

      Thanks,

      Uzair.

Well if you mean my listing of articles when you click on one of the news sections... that's not a module. Its just Joomla's blog listing of articles in that category. I changed the blog options to show only 1 column and no leading article. I also changed the "Read more" text to "Continue" since this is proven to produce a higher click-thru rate. The style of them is directly from the Firenzie template, I didn't change that at all.
