I've finally 'pre-launched'
http://www.mundsparkonline.com
using the WAY COOL Populus template. I say pre-launch because I've got a lot more stuff to add, but that will take time. This is a community site for a small mountain town in northern Arizona (just south of Flagstaff actually). Anyway, the town wanted to be 'online' and have a way to present information and current events to folks from outside the area and I couldn't think of a better solution than Joomla (with a RT template of course).
There's a lady that runs a small newspaper there that publishes once every 2-weeks and I'm trying to convince her to let me publish her content on the site - I've purchased iJoomla Magazine if Joomla won't handle that task out of the box.
I will also install/enable the following: Fireboard - gotta educate the users and plant a seed amongst the locals JCal Pro - endless reasons here Classifieds - I'm not which one, but I've messed with one in the past that I think has potential (yard sales, etc.) Local Advertising - jury's still out on how to do this opposite of Facebook
Any critiques, feedback, tips, ideas, death threats, etc are very much welcome and appreciated.
I wanna give a hella-mega BOO - YA to everyone here in the forum and everyone at RT ::::: You guys rock!
