I created a brand new website:
www.uitvandaag.nl
The website is based on the populus template. I moved the rokslide to the banner position and made its size as the whole header. By doing this I have a full header with rotating images.
I optimized the website as much as possible for SEO. I cannot think of any other on-site optimization, but if you have comments.....please reply. I used sh404SEF as component for SE friendly URLS
Custom Development:
I created an own component to register events. Date related events are free to publish as long as they take no longer than 8 days. I created a search module and a newest events module to interact with this component
Any remarks are very welcome!
BTW: It's a dutch website....
