    • Although I've been reading tutorials and practicing for awhile, this is actually my first site with Joomla and templates. I had tried several templates and then tried SnowFire and suddenly I understood it (I think).

      I need something much simpler than Coppermine to handle photos. You'll notice I haven't done much with it. I used the Wrapper in Joomla in several places. I can't decide if I should remove the header image from the WordPress Blog.

      The site looks quite 'solid' in colours and feel. But when I went to see the guestbook I was astonished that you haven't used one of the well fitting Joomla guestbook Components outthere, instead you used some free (paste your code) guestbook which has all colours that your website doesn't!

      In short: Great website, except for the GuestBook component.

      Perhaps you could try my color set ;D
      I think light colors would suit much better with your kind of site.

      Thanks for the feedback.

      When I visited the Joomla extensions page I could not find a guestbook rated higher than 3 stars and some of the review comments were pretty harsh. Even the commercial component only had 3-1/2 stars. So, since my skills were not quite ready for primetime with Joomla, I opted to install the guest book provided by my host through Fantastico.

      Can you recommend a good guest book for Joomla?

      For an other image gallery, you could try Flash Expose Gallery
      extensions.joomla.org/component/option,c...nk_id,254/Itemid,35/

      Very simple to use and simply beautiful ;)
