If you are happy with the color scheme, you should disable the color chooser.
I look at the color chooser as more of an Administrative tool the get the colors 'just right' rather than a 'toy' for visitors.
When someone comes to my site, I want them to concentrate my content, not playing around with the color scheme....

I am with you, but my client want it to be there that feature, . In this matter, as an election campaign site, appeareance, design, good looking it does matter more than content...The content is quality one, too, however.

Next time tell them it's a 'special tool' for you to adjust the colors on a 'test site' and won't work on a live site without some catastrophe...... hurricane, tornado, meltdown, dog will die, etc....
